Matias is one of the partners responsible for the International practice. He has extensive experience providing legal advice to individuals, families and companies, with special emphasis on international tax planning, wealth management and structuring businesses with an international scope.
He advises clients with operations in various jurisdictions on the project and implementation of tax-efficient structures, as well as on the location and relocation of administrative, commercial and service operations in order to optimize the management and competitiveness of their businesses. He also advises on redomiciliation processes to Uruguay, both for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and companies.
His practice encompasses wealth structuring and organization from a multidisciplinary legal perspective, integrating tax, corporate, inheritance, and family law aspects. He also has experience in corporate governance, estate and wealth planning and counseling on family and inheritance law.
He also advises on matters related to preferential tax regimes, such as free trade zones, free ports, and temporary admission of goods.
He has been recognized in Band 1 in the Chambers High Net Worth guide, in the Private Wealth Law category.

- STEP Foundation Certificate on Trusts for Civil Law Practitioners.
