Professional experience

Mr. Caffera has vast experience in counseling national and international companies and banking institutions in diverse operations such as mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, financing, joint ventures and complex agreements, among others, having specialized in Civil and Commercial Law. He has advised a number of the foreign companies that made the most substantial investments in Uruguay in the past few years.

As an academic, he is Professor of Private Law II and III (Duties/Liabilities and Contracts) at Universidad de la República, Uruguay at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Visiting Researcher at Max Planck Institute of Comparative Law (Hamburg, Germany)
